How Vegasnow Protects Your Data and Payment Details

A plain-English look at what we collect for account verification, deposits and withdrawals, and how long we keep it.

Privacy and Data Handling at Vegasnow

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Every Aussie player who opens an account with Vegasnow hands over some personal information. This page explains exactly what we ask for, why we need it, how long we hold it and what control you have over it.

What We Collect and Why

When you register, we collect basic identity details: your full name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and residential address. These are used to confirm you are 18 or older, to communicate with you about your account, and to meet the identity checks that any AUD-based gaming platform operating in Australia is expected to run. Before your first withdrawal, we may ask for a government-issued ID document and, in some cases, a proof-of-address document such as a recent utility bill.

  • Full name and date of birth, matched against your ID document
  • Contact details: email, mobile number, residential address
  • Device and browser information used for account security and fraud prevention
  • Gameplay history: bets placed, wins, losses and session times, kept for account and dispute records
  • Support interactions, including chat transcripts and emails, kept for service quality and dispute resolution

Payment Data: PayID, Cards and Crypto Wallets

Vegasnow supports PayID, POLi, Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin, Tether and bank transfer. Each payment method carries its own data footprint. For PayID and POLi deposits we receive the bank-linked identifier and transaction reference needed to match your deposit to your account, but we do not store your online banking password. For card payments we store a tokenised reference and the last four digits for reconciliation, never the full card number or CVV, which are handled by our payment processor. For Bitcoin and Tether transactions we record the wallet address you send from or withdraw to, along with the transaction hash, so we can confirm receipt and process withdrawals correctly.

  • PayID: bank identifier and payment reference, not your online banking credentials
  • POLi and bank transfer: BSB and account details used only to verify the source of funds
  • Visa and Mastercard: tokenised card reference, last four digits, expiry month and year
  • Bitcoin and Tether: wallet address and transaction hash, used to match deposits and process crypto withdrawals

Why Verification Matters for Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests are checked against the same name and payment method used to deposit. This is standard practice across AUD casinos and it protects you from someone else accessing your winnings. If the name on your PayID, bank account or crypto wallet does not match your Vegasnow account, we will pause the withdrawal until it is resolved with our support team.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Typical data retention at Vegasnow
Data typeRetention approach
Identity and verification documentsRetained while your account is active and for a period afterward to meet record-keeping obligations
Transaction and payment recordsRetained to support dispute resolution, refunds and financial reconciliation
Gameplay historyRetained for account statements and responsible gambling review
Marketing preferencesRetained until you opt out or close your account

Your Rights as a Vegasnow Player

You can ask us at any time to see what personal information we hold, to correct inaccurate details, or to close your account. Closing your account does not always mean immediate deletion of every record: some transaction and identity data must be kept for a period to satisfy fraud prevention and financial record-keeping. Where we no longer need data for those purposes, we remove or anonymise it.

  • Request a copy of the personal data linked to your account
  • Ask us to correct outdated contact or identity details
  • Opt out of marketing emails and SMS at any time
  • Request account closure or a self-exclusion period
  • Ask how your data is used for responsible gambling monitoring

Data Security Measures

Account passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, not plain text. Payment pages run over encrypted connections, and card data is processed by our payment partners rather than stored in full on our servers. Internal access to identity documents and payment records is limited to staff who need it for verification, support or compliance work.

Third Parties and Data Sharing

We share limited data with payment processors to complete PayID, POLi, card and crypto transactions, with identity verification providers to confirm age and ID documents, and with game providers such as Pragmatic Play and Evolution to run gameplay sessions and record results. We do not sell player data to advertisers.
